Our Retreat Center
The Wharf House in Jamaica is a beautiful and historic 18th century property located on the shores of the Montego Bay Lagoon, a saltwater inlet of the Caribbean Sea which is part of the Montego Bay Marine Park. It is a small and intimate villa and each of the rooms is unique and all of them reflect the owners’ passion for beautiful things.
The Wharf House has its own small private pebble beach (accessible only to Wharf House guests), a swimming pool shaded by massive cotton trees, a large seaside dock, a private jetty, and expansive tropical gardens dotted with a wide variety of fruit trees - mangoes, coconuts, ackees, breadfruit, avocados, lemons and pomegranates. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife. The lagoon teems with fish and other sea creatures, and its gardens are filled with birds, bees, butterflies and lizards.
The Accommodations
Villa accommodations with shared and private rooms are available in the great house, seaside cottage, poolside cottage, and hillside cottages and all spaces at The Wharf House will be exclusively occupied by our group and will be shared between us.
The Great House - Main Bedroom
The Main Bedroom in The Great House has a gorgeous Sea facing room with a King size bed, day bed and ensuite bathroom (toilet, bath/shower combo).
The Great House - Garden Bedroom
The Garden Bedroom in The Great House has twin beds and is a shared room and it can be made into a room for a couple. The Garden Bedroom’s hall bathroom is a short walk across the living room and has a toilet and bath/shower combo.
The Pool Cottage
The Pool Cottage is separate from the Main House. It can be a shared room with two twin beds or a King bed for two and has en suite bathroom (toilet and shower).
The Seaside Cottage
Seaside Cottage is separate from the Main House. It has a large airy room with a King size bed, an extra daybed and an ensuite bathroom (toilet, bath/ shower combo).
The room is directly on the water and also has direct access to the Villa’s private terrace and pebble beach at the water’s edge.
Staying here you can begin your day in paradise.Simply wake up, walk outside, and put your toes straight into the turquoise water!
The Hillside Cottage
The Hillside Cottages have two rooms: (1) Room one has a queen sized bed is suitable for a couple or ideal if you prefer an individual room (2) Room two has twin bedsand is a shared room that is perfect for travellers on a budget.
